Special Needs

The Garvin Special Needs Center is a new component of The Arc's Adult Training Services. This program is designed to meet the needs of a diverse group of consumers who are medically frail or who need specialized attention. Currently, the program features a ratio of one instructor to three consumers. This support enables each consumer to become involved in individualized activities including trips, outdoor experiences and other projects designed to help each person become as independent as possible.
